Wake Tech began in 1958 offering classes to prepare students for specific skills needed in industry. Today, we offer more than 70 technical and vocational programs, which follow our tradition of training students for specific job skills, as well as a college transfer program for those who want to continue their education at four-year institutions. In addition, our continuing educationprograms provide hundreds of non-credit courses for job upgrading or personal interest.
